We got our ‘Bree’ from Bonny a little over 2 years ago. We couldn’t be happier with her! We love, love, love this dog! Bonny has helped us immensely, especially the first year, as it was our first giant breed of dog. She was available for advise whenever we asked. If we ever get another wolfhound we would definitely go back to Bonny. She will be a lifelong friend too we hope!
The breed itself is amazingly smart, as Bonny said once, ”They are smart, they just don’t act like Border collies!”

When I decided I wanted to own an Irish Wolfhound, I went overboard in researching the breed and breeders. I spoke with every breeder I could find, through the internet, AKC listings, IW Club recommendations and the various puppy sale sites. I spoke with anyone that was willing to talk with me and answer my questions. I got a lot of different answers.
When I contacted Bonny I was impressed with her no nonsense approach. She was straightforward and professional. She didn't contradict other breeders, just shared her experiences and what works for her.
When I picked up my puppy it was clear she loved and took good care of her animals. Her dogs are beautiful!
Bonny provided important paperwork, medical records, puppy food, a leash , a toy etc. She has kept in contact and is genuinely concerned with my dog's wellbeing.
My wolfhound adjusted to our family quickly and has been easy to train . He has a very mellow temperament. I think he is beautiful!

We were directed to Bonny by another reputable breeder here in Kansas. We have had the joy of owning a Wolfhound in the past and couldn't imagine not having another one in our life. Once you have opened your heart to a hound you are in love with the breed for life!! We went out to visit Bonny and her dogs at the farm and the rest was history. Our little girl is healthy and beautiful with a fun puppy personality all her own. When you meet Bonny you can immediately tell how much she loves her dogs and the breed. She has offered advice on the care, feeding and general health of the breed and is available to answer any questions. Our Keeva traveled beautifully on the long car ride home. The breed is very intelligent making Potty training and crate training a breeze. We love our little/big girl and look forward to making many precious memories in the years to come!! Thank you Bonny!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bonny Bell and her hounds! She is an invaluable resource - knowledgable, kind, caring, supportive - ready to answer any questions or discuss any concerns I have about my beautiful boy, Giant. He’s 2 years old now and has brought me such joy! He makes friends everywhere he goes and my neighbors remark at least once week how happy he seems as we walk down the block and through the park. He’s goofy and clumsy, loves squirrels and sticks, and has the best heart - gentle and loving, but stout and strong. He has brought me more happiness than I could have anticipated and of course some headaches as well, but Bonny has been there for counsel whenever I have needed. I will get another wolfhound from her. . . Just as soon as I move to a bigger house ;) H.D.
